Dive into one of the world’s most iconic underwater sites, starting with the Great Blue Hole! This massive sinkhole is over 300 meters wide and 125 meters deep, offering a truly unique diving experience. You might spot reef sharks, giant groupers, and colorful fish, but the main attraction is the stunning geological formations that make this dive bucket-list worthy. The excitement doesn’t end there!
At Half-Moon Wall and the Long Caye Aquarium, every dive feels like stepping into a living aquarium. The reef itself is breathtaking—massive brain corals, delicate sea fans, and colorful staghorn and elkhorn corals form intricate structures that shelter countless marine species, including schools of snapper, angelfish, parrotfish, grunts, and barracuda. Be on the lookout for the Caribbean reef sharks cruising by. The eagle rays gliding gracefully, and sea turtles feeding along the reef. With so much life in motion, these sites easily become a favourite for many divers.
This excursion also includes a stop at the stunning Half Moon Caye. We start bright and early at 5:30 AM — yes, it’s an early start, but it’s worth it! We start at 5:30 AM: Meet at the dive shop, where a light breakfast will be provided. At 6:00 AM: Depart for the Great Blue Hole, a scenic 2-hour boat ride from Caye Caulker.
